Baptism

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptizedinto Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Romans 6:3-4

Want to follow Jesus?

Jesus came to save humanity from sin (its penalty, power, and presence). His death, burial, and resurrection (recorded for us in the Scriptures) is how He accomplished our salvation. The Bible says, “it is by grace you have been saved” (Ephesians 2:8). We cannot earn, nor do we deserve, the salvation that Jesus offers. However, Jesus made it clear: although He came to save anyone, not everyone will be saved (John 3:16-18). If you are ready for the salvation that Jesus offered and you want to follow Him with your whole life the Bible teaches that you receive His salvation by: believing, confessing that Jesus is Lord, turning from your sin (repentance), and being immersed in water for the forgiveness of your sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (baptism).

We want to help you obey the gospel. If you are ready, reach out to us with questions, to learn more about following Jesus, or to to make the decision to follow Him in baptism. We recognize you may still have questions, so check out these resources on baptism.
